Try the Upskill Energy Equipment Explorer
The Upskill Energy Equipment Explorer is a desktop 3D training application in which operators and technicians find any tag and its access route, work out an isolation, respond to alarms, run start checks and follow guided fault finding. Pick a task below, or start it and explore.

What you are looking at.
A demonstration build: the gas turbine package and the centrifugal pump carry the full training layer, and eight more machines show how they work. In your build, every machine, tag, isolation and document is your own.
Illustrative models
Generic, simplified machines: not to scale, not copied from any maker’s drawings, and not controlled drawings. Tags and documents are demonstration examples.
A training aid
It explains and points to the governing documents. It does not authorise any task, isolation, reset or entry: your procedures and your authorised people decide.
Yours runs offline
Your build runs on your own systems, answering from your own manuals and procedures. Once it is handed over, it sends nothing off site.
What you can do in it.
Eight tasks, each one a button above the explorer, and the ten machines in the demonstration build.
- Cut it open. The gas turbine cut open and running, with the gas path shown. Drag to turn it, scroll to zoom.
- Find a tag. A valve on the pump: its tag, where it is, the walking route to it, and how it is locked.
- Isolate for work. Isolation for work on the fuel nozzles. Every section is coloured live, trapped or isolated, and the isolation is checked on the model.
- Answer an alarm. Lube oil supply pressure low: what it means, where the sensor is, the likely causes in order and the first safe checks.
- Why will it not start. The start checks as lamps, with one inhibit simulated. Find the one that stops the start.
- Trace a fault. Cranks but fails to light: one safe question at a time, each showing where to look on the model.
- Ask the manuals. A question answered from the training library, with numbered citations to the section it came from.
- Take the assessment. The final assessment: situations the learner has not seen in the course.

Questions about the demonstration.
What you are running, and what changes in your own build.
Is this the real software or a video?
It is the real Upskill Energy Equipment Explorer, running live in your browser, not a recording. You can turn and zoom the machines, open them up, and run the same tasks a learner would: finding tags, isolating for work, answering alarms, checking why a machine will not start and tracing faults.
What is in the demonstration build?
The demonstration build has ten machines. The gas turbine package and the centrifugal pump carry the full training layer, with tags, isolations, alarms, start checks, fault finding, a course and an assessment, and the other eight show how they work. In your build, every machine, tag, isolation and document is your own.
Are the tags and drawings real?
No. The demonstration models are generic and simplified: not to scale, not copied from any maker’s drawings and not controlled drawings, and the tags and documents are demonstration examples. Your build is made from your own equipment register, drawings and procedures, and your engineer answers our questions as we build it.
Why does it need a laptop or desktop?
The explorer is a detailed 3D application with a lot of text beside the model, so it needs a larger screen, a mouse or trackpad and a desktop browser such as Chrome or Edge. On a phone, the ten sixty-second films on the How it works page show the same machines cut open and running.
